well ya gotta start somewhere, even if it is too heavy you can still be happy with the result, cause the quality looks very good. i assume the alignment worked alright?
i get all my machining doe at a CNC shop down the road. i dont even own a lathe...

yeah man that tubes monster. 1/16=0.062, you wont have a problem with 0.035". that'd nearly halve your frame weight.

what guage tubing you using? by the size of you welding bead it looks fairly heavy...you've got deep penetration with heavy rod by the looks?
